The Character of a Methodist (Fall 2024)
What defines you? What are the essential things that explain your identity and character? This sermon series is about our DNA as the disciples of Jesus called Methodists. We’re looking at scripture and our history to understand the faith, ideas, and principles built into who we are as United Methodists. Some of this may be new to you. Maybe you haven’t heard it discussed like this. Our hope is that after the next six weeks, you’ll have a clearer, richer, Biblical understanding of what makes the Methodist movement distinctive in Christianity. It’s not about being better than others, but so that we better understand ourselves.
