"Therefore, let's draw near with a genuine heart with the certainty that our faith gives us, since our hearts are sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies are washed with pure water. ... And let us consider each other carefully for the purpose of sparking love and good deeds. Don't stop meeting together with other believers, which some people have gotten into the habit of doing. Instead, encourage each other, especially as you see the day drawing near."
This week we continue our "Standing on the Promises of God" sermon series and this week, "let us consider each other carefully for the purpose of sparking love and good deeds."

[44:25] let us give thanks to the next one. And you're in the next one. and you're in the next one. It is right. And you're in the next one. and everywhere to give thanks to you, almighty God, creator of heaven and earth.
[44:41] You formed us in your image and breathed into us the very breath of life. When we turned away and our love failed, your love remained steadfast.
[44:51] You delivered us from captivity. You made covenant to be our sovereign God and spoke to us through your prophets who looked for that day when justice would roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream, when nations shall not lift up sword against nations and neither shall they learn war anymore.
[45:17] And so, with all your people on earth and all the company of heaven, we praise your name and join their unending hymn. Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
[45:36] Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. Holy are you and blessed is your son, Jesus Christ.
[45:49] Your spirit anointed him to preach good news to the poor, release to the captives, sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, and to announce that the time had come when you would save your people.
[46:07] He healed the sick, fed the hungry, ate with sinners, and by the baptism of his suffering, death, and resurrection, you gave birth to your church and delivered us from our sins and made with us a new covenant by water and the spirit.
[46:25] At his ascension, you exalted him to sit with you at your right hand. And so, on the night in which he gave himself up for you, for me, for us, he took bread.
[46:47] He gave thanks to God who had given all that it took to create it. And he broke it. And he gave it to his disciples and said, take and eat this.
[47:02] My body given for you. Do this in remembrance of me and what I bring to you. And when the supper was over, he took the cup, gave thanks to God for the fruit of the vine, and said, take and drink from this, each and every one of you.
[47:21] All are welcome to drink from this cup, remembering that Jesus' blood was shed for us, that we might be forgiven, that the days that we don't meet our promises to God are behind us.
[47:36] And today is a new day when we are forgiven by his body and by his blood. And so, in remembrance of these, the mighty acts that God has done in Jesus Christ, we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving as a holy and living sacrifice in union with Christ's offering for us as we proclaim the mystery of faith.
[48:07] Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again. Pour out your Holy Spirit on all of us gathered here and on these gifts of bread and cup.
[48:20] Make them be for us the body and blood of Christ that we may be for the world, the body of Christ, redeemed by his blood. By your Spirit, make us one with Christ, one with each other, and one in ministry to all the world.
[48:37] Until Christ comes in final victory and we feast at his heavenly banquet. Through your Son, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in your holy church.
[48:48] All honor and glory is yours, Almighty God, now and forever. Amen. Hear us now as we join together in the prayer that Jesus taught us.
[49:01] Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
[49:12] Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not to temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[49:27] For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen. Would the servers please join us?

[57:13] When we go from unbelief to faith in Christ, God's promise is that he won't leave us the same, that we will be changed and transformed and ready when Christ comes that day.
[57:28] And that place that he's prepared for us, we will be able to walk into because he's taking us from glory to glory. I invite you to stand as we sing our closing song.

[62:49] So we heard it in our lesson today that we can enter the Holy of Holies with boldness. We heard it in our lesson today that we can hold on to the faith we profess without wavering.
[63:03] And we heard it in our lesson today that we can encourage one another on to good deeds because the one who promised us is faithful. Let's go and live like it.
[63:16] Now in the name of God, our creator and king, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our savior, in the name of the Holy Spirit, our counselor and our sustainer.
